KL Rahul Makes a Comeback After Surgery
Team India has received some great news with ace batter KL Rahul having started walking without crutches after his surgery in London. The Lucknow Super Giants skipper is expected to begin his rehabilitation in the second week of June, just in time for the ICC World Cup 2023.
KL Rahul’s Injury
The India star was last seen in public walking with the aid of crutches, accompanied by his wife Athiya Shetty. A few days prior, he had posted images of himself on crutches after undergoing surgery for an injury to his right thigh that he sustained during an IPL 2023 game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
World Test Championship Final 2023
Unfortunately, the surgery meant that KL Rahul had to miss out on the World Test Championship Final 2023 (WTC Final 2023) against Australia in Oval, which is set to begin on June 7.
