The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the India A squad for the upcoming Women’s Asia Cup, with all-rounder Shweta Sehrawat as the team’s captain. Sehrawat will lead the 14-member India A squad in the ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup, held in Hong Kong from June 12 to 21. India A will kick off their campaign on June 13 against the hosts at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.

The All India Women’s Selection Committee announced the India A (Emerging) squad for the ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup 2023, as per a release from the BCCI. The tournament will include eight teams divided into two groups. India A (Emerging) is part of Group A, which also consists of hosts Hong Kong, Thailand A and Pakistan A . Group B includes Bangladesh A , Sri Lanka A , Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates. The final is scheduled for June 21.

The India A (Emerging) squad comprises of Shweta Sehrawat (Captain), Soumya Tiwari (vice-captain), Trisha Gonga, Priya Punia, Arundhati Reddy, Veda Krishnamurthy, Manali Dakshini, Tanusree Sarkar, Sushree Dibyadarshini, Rashi Kanojia, Simran Dil Bahadur, Shikha Pandey, Tanvi Bishnoi and Ayushi Soni.
