India’s Road to WTC Final 2023: A Mixed Bag

With Virat Kohli failing to secure the last WTC crown, the hopes now rest on Rohit Sharma to end the ICC trophy drought when they face Australia at the Oval on June 7.

This two-year period has been a rollercoaster. India have been undefeated in all series played at home. However, their overseas results have been less impressive, with 1 loss and 1 draw. During their tour of England, India were unable to convert their 2-1 lead into a series win. Similarly, in South Africa, India went from a 1-0 lead to a 1-2 loss.
