India vs Australia: Epic Final Clash of the World Test Championship
The much-anticipated World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final is set to take place at the Kennington Oval, London from June 7 (Wednesday) onwards. Both teams, India and Australia, are vying to make history.
Questions Ahead of the Match
Prior to the match, both teams have some questions that need to be addressed. Notably, Australia are without their star bowler Josh Hazlewood, who has been ruled out due to injury. Scott Boland, who has had a good run in the longest format of the game, has the onus of filling Hazlewood’s shoes.
On India’s part, the management has to decide on their wicket-keeper batsman. They have the option of either picking KS Bharat or Ishan Kishan. While Kishan is yet to make his debut, Bharat has amassed just a shade above 100 runs in his 5 Test appearances. Experts feel that the decision will be of utmost importance.
