Ajitesh’s brilliant unbeaten 112 steered Nellai Royal Kings to their second consecutive victory in the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2023, as they chased down 182 against Lyca Kovai Kings at the Ramakrishna College Ground on Friday, 16th June 2023.
Sai Sudharsan Registers Second Successive Fifty
Sai Sudharsan had earlier slammed an unbeaten 90 for Lyca Kovai Kings, registering his second successive fifty in the tournament. Nellai Royal Kings had opted to bowl first, and picked up an early wicket in the second over of the innings with Sonu Yadav dismissing B Sachin for a nought.
62-Run Stand for the Second Wicket
Sai Sudharsan then joined Suresh Kumar in the middle. The duo went on to share a 62-run stand for the second wicket, before the partnership was broken by pacer M Poiyamozhi in the ninth over of the innings. Suresh departed after scoring 33 off 23 balls.
