India’s Home Cricket Schedule Confirmed Till March 2024

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the upcoming home series for the Indian cricket team, which will run until March 2024. The series will begin with a three-match ODI series against Australia, serving as preparatory matches for the World Cup 2023. Following the World Cup, India will play Australia again in a five-match T20 series in November-December. After Rohit Sharma and his team return from South Africa, they will face Afghanistan in a three-match T20 series before the big five-match Test series against England in January-March.

India vs Australia

The home season will kick off with a three-match ODI series between India and Australia, in preparation for World Cup 2023. The matches will be held in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot on September 22, 24 and 27 respectively. After the 50-over World Cup, India will play a five-match T20I series against Australia, beginning on 23rd November in Vizag and concluding on 3rd December in Hyderabad.

India vs Afghanistan

Once the Indian cricket team returns from South Africa, they will host Afghanistan for a three-match T20 series. The postponed India vs Afghanistan series will begin on March 20, 2022 and will be played in Lucknow, Delhi and Kolkata.
