BCCI Finalizes World Cup 2023 Schedule

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has nearly completed the new World Cup 2023 Schedule. Before the July 31 deadline, all host venues were asked to submit their ticketing information. Jay Shah and his team are now reaching out to the International Cricket Council (ICC) to ratify the details regarding the World Cup 2023 tickets and schedule. It is expected that the India vs Pakistan game will be shifted to October 14.

Emergency Meeting Called by BCCI

On July 27, BCCI held an emergency meeting with all host associations to discuss the World Cup schedule and ticketing process. The member board was given until July 31 to submit their plans. The associations have been given the liberty to set the prices of their games and also specify the number of tickets to be allocated to the BCCI and ICC.

Tickets to be Allocated to BCCI and ICC

As per reports, the ICC and BCCI will each be allocated 300 hospitality tickets for each game. Additionally, the ICC will be provided with 1295 tickets for league games and 1500 tickets for the knock-out stages.

The BCCI is putting the final touches on the World Cup 2023 Schedule and ticketing process. The associations have the freedom to set their own ticket prices and the ICC and BCCI will receive the allocated tickets. The India vs Pakistan game is expected to be moved to October 14.
