MS Dhoni Injury: Seeking Expert Opinion

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni is seeking expert advice for his injured left knee. As per the team’s CEO, Dhoni is prepared to undergo surgery in order to recuperate for the next season. On Wednesday, Kasi Viswanathan, CEO of CSK, stated that Dhoni will be consulting with sports orthopaedics in Mumbai to evaluate the condition of his ailing knee before deciding on a treatment plan.

Consulting with Dr Padriwal

Viswanathan informed Cricbuzz that Dhoni has gone to meet Dr Padriwal and is prepared to take the surgery route to recover completely for the next season. During the Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Dhoni had played with a heavily strapped left knee and although he appeared to be fine while keeping, he usually batted as late as No. 8 and did not appear to be swift while running between the wickets.

Returning for One More Season

After leading the side to their fifth IPL title, Dhoni had stated that he would return for at least one more season for the fans, if his body allows.

Conclusion

MS Dhoni’s injury has been a cause of concern for many cricket fans, however, the CSK skipper is now taking the necessary steps to ensure a full recovery and return to the field. With the help of sports orthopaedics in Mumbai, Dhoni is in the process of deciding the best course of action to treat his injured knee and recuperate for the next season.
