India vs Australia: WTC Final 2023
Australia’s Test skipper Pat Cummins has expressed that his team is more seasoned in winning significant games and finals in ICC competitions than Team India. Addressing the media on the eve of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final, Cummins was asked if Australia team will have an extra advantage over India, considering the Men in Blue haven’t been able to win a global tournament for 10 years.
Experience of Playing in Big Finals
The Aussie captain said that many members of the current team are equipped with the experience of playing in big finals and winning them. He said, “One thing about playing lots of cricket is you get experience in pressure moments and finals, you know, there’s no higher pressure situation. So again, that’s one of the benefits of having an experienced side. We’ve seen it all before. We’ve been in these moments and, have taken the confidence to know that no matter what happens, you’re going to be okay on the other side of it and just take the game on, enjoy it and yeah, I think that’s what you’ll see.”
