Following an investigation, Mumbai Police have reported to the court that the Delhi Capitals star is innocent and the claims against him are false and baseless. Gill had initially approached the Airport police station in Andheri with her complaint and subsequently moved to the magistrate court in Andheri, seeking FIRs for three bailable offences against Shaw and Yadav.
CCTV Footage Reveals Truth
The police informed the court that the CCTV footage of the pub had shown that Gill and her friend Shobit Thakur were both drunk and dancing. Thakur had attempted to record Shaw on his phone, but the cricketer had stopped him from doing so. The footage did not indicate any misconduct on Shaw’s part.
