Prashant Kumar, Special DG law and order, confirmed that a successful rescue operation had been carried out. Reports suggest that three people, including two women, were trapped inside the vehicle.

Panic on Spot

The collapse of the board outside Ekana Stadium in Lucknow caused panic on the spot as the local Police and SDRF teams were called in to respond to the situation. The injured were soon sent to the hospital, and a crane was used to remove the hoarding from the car.

The hoardings had been installed as LSG played their home encounters of IPL 2023 in Lucknow. However, even after the games, none of the hoardings have been removed near the stadiums. The stadium has been left with the signs still in place.
