India’s Last Title in 2013
India’s last ICC title came under the leadership of M S Dhoni in 2013, but since then, the team has failed to make it to the end in high-pressure knockout games, including the 2017 Champions Trophy final against Pakistan, the 2019 ODI World Cup semifinal against New Zealand, and the T20 World Cup semifinal against England last year.
India’s Previous WTC Final
In the inaugural WTC final two years ago, India finished as runners-up to New Zealand. Despite having the resources to be a powerhouse in the sport, India has yet to bring home a major title.
