Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamshala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune are the 10 cities that will host the competition. Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati will host warm-up matches between September 28 and October 3.
Expectations of Hotel Industry
Abinash Ashok, associate vice president of the Suba Group of Hotels, told MoneyControl that the hotel industry is expecting 100% occupancy during the World Cup. The Suba Group runs a chain of budget hotels under the Click brand.
