Team India Preparing for World Cup and Asia Cup 2023
Rahul Dravid, the coach of Team India, has stated that they are trying out different players in the series against the West Indies with the World Cup 2023 and Asia Cup 2023 in mind. He further said that playing Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in every match will not provide the squad with the answers they are looking for.
India’s Last Chance to Test Out Players

Dravid explained to the media that they are testing out players as backups due to the number of injuries the team has suffered. He said that this was their last chance to try out their players, as many of them are in the NCA, and they are running out of time with the World Cup and Asia Cup looming in the near future. As such, they have to take the chance to try out other players so that they have some game time under their belt in case of a worst-case scenario.
