BCCI Secretary Confirms Revised Schedule for India vs Afghanistan ODI Series
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary, Jay Shah, has confirmed the new schedule for the ODI series between India and Afghanistan. This series, which was originally planned for June 2023, has been pushed back due to a mutual agreement between the ACB and BCCI. The three-match ODI series was initially set to take place from June 23 to June 30, but it will now be held in January 2024, as announced by Jay Shah after the Apex Council meeting in Mumbai on Friday, July 7.
New Media Rights Agreement to Be Finalized by End of August
Shah also declared that the new media rights agreement for home bilateral cricket matches will be concluded and signed by the end of August. This deal will cover the next four years of cricket matches.

The BCCI’s new media rights deal (for bilateral matches in India) will be in place by the end of August. It will begin with the eight-match series against Australia (3 ODIs before the ODI World Cup & 5 T20Is after the WC), Shah said.
