WTC Final 2023: Team India Prepares for the Big Match

The Indian cricket team is gearing up for the World Test Championship final against Australia, which will take place on June 7 at The Oval. Coaches Paras Mhambrey, T Dilip, and Vikram Rathour recently released a video discussing the building workload for the bowlers after two months of rigorous IPL matches. Mohammad Shami and Ravindra Jadeja are set to arrive in England just a week before the final.

Practice Sessions at Arundel Castle Cricket Club

Team India will have a few practice sessions at the Arundel Castle Cricket Club in Sussex ahead of the big match. Paras Mhambrey, the team’s bowling coach, mentioned in the video released by the BCCI that the practice sessions have been going well so far. He said, “The initial bit was to ease into the practice session but the last two sessions have been pretty happy. I think we pushed them a little bit. Just adding a little bit of workload for the bowlers, just kind of preparing them for the Test match.”

Ideal Conditions for Practice

Mhambrey also spoke about the conditions at the Arundel Castle Cricket Club, saying, “We are happy with the conditions. I think it is a lovely ground. It is kind of what you can expect. The weather is holding up quite nicely.”

Conclusion

Team India is putting in the hard work ahead of the WTC Final 2023. With the practice sessions at Arundel Castle Cricket Club going well and the ideal conditions, the team looks to be in good shape for the big match against Australia.
