Deadline for World Cup 2023 Squad Submission
The deadline for submitting squads for World Cup 2023 has been set. As reported by InsideSport, August 29 will be the preliminary date for submitting squads, while September 5 is the final deadline. All teams must also get approval from the ICC Technical Committee.

Since it is almost impossible for India Cricket Team to get Rishabh Pant back in action by September 5, the BCCI and selectors are looking to KL Rahul as an alternative. Rahul is currently recovering and is expected to be back in action for the Asia Cup 2023.
